VIRTUAL BEINGS is based in Paris and was founded by Wendelin Reich in 2016, a former researcher in social psychology and computer scientist at Stanford, with a special expertise in behavioral AI and over 10 years of gamedev experience in VR, AR and Mobile. Our innovative AI engine KuteEngine™ created by him is the tech foundation for our production of interactive AI characters.
We are on a mission to develop next-gen behavioral AI to offer people the joy of owning, interacting with and caring for believable virtual characters. Our tech can be applied on all platforms, including mobile, PC and XR. Tender Paws: A Home For Cats, is our initial proof of concept that aims at offering a most authentic cat experience to people on multiple digital platforms.

At the same time, more and more people today seek empathy and connectedness by becoming pet owners, yet an ever-increasing share is unable to take good care of their real pets because they're busy or allergic, therefore they are seeking digital alternatives.
